Final Magazine Digipak Advertisement

I am happy with the final result of the Magazine Digipak Advertisement. I focused on the layout. I think that the advert promotes the bands personality as well as their music. I tried to show that the band were very girly, happy and that their music was pop orientated. I did this because the target audience are young girls which are looking for rolemodels to lead them in the right path. This is why the band has to be clean cut and friendly.
Having the photoshoot in a studio creates a clear link between the Advert and the Music Video because that is were the filming will take place. I choose a calm and happy photograph because i felt that it would connote to the audience that the band is friendly, fun but also serious about their music.
I wanted the Advert to be colourful and stood out from the rest of the pages you would find in a magazine.
I decided to do the magazine cut out effect for the Digipak Magazine Advert. I choose this because I really like the effect but also because i find it quite interesting to look at. The effect makes the subject inside it stand out. It also emphasises the most important elements of this page (the band and their name). The effect is very eye catching and has a slight edge, especially with a bright selection of colours.
Throughout the Digipak, Magazine Advertisement, Digipak Leaflet and all the photography I did, I have repeted the colour yellow. I have done this because the colour yellow connotes happiness, warmth, excitement and freshness. The colour yellow is energetic and eye catching which is exactly what i want my band to be seen as. I want them to be recognised as being jolly, energetic and not afraid to stand out.
